Terms
Terms of use
The conditions that apply when using Direct Line Medical to request non-emergency care.
Not for emergencies
Do not use this site for an emergency. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. See when to call 911.
Who can use it
Patients located in Ohio. A parent or legal guardian must submit and approve a request for a patient under 18.
A request is not an appointment
Submitting a request does not create a provider-patient relationship on its own and does not guarantee that care will be provided. Response times shown on the site are estimates, not guaranteed appointment times. A provider may decline a request or recommend that you be seen in person, urgently, or in an emergency department.
Payment
Direct Line Medical is self-pay. You authorise a payment method when you submit a request, and the practice charges it only after care has been provided, for the amount shown for the service. Card details are held by the payment processor, not by this site. Insurance information you provide is used for referrals, labs, imaging, and prescriptions.
Controlled substances
Controlled substances are not prescribed through this service.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate information, keep your request code private, and contact the practice directly if your condition changes or worsens while you are waiting.
